Access the Activation Wizard

Mastercam Licenses are activated or deactivated in the Mastercam Activation Wizard which can be found in the Start Menu under Start > All Programs > Mastercam Licensing Utilities > Activation Wizard

If the computer you wish to deactivate has internet access, follow the instructions below. If not, skip down to the “No Internet Access” section.

Internet Access

Select Online Activation/Deactivation.
Select Deactivate or Move an Existing License
On the License Deactivation Selection page, select the license to deactivate.

NOTE:
Depending on the license you are deactivating, it will state if it is an Evaluation or Retail license.

Click Next
The Confirmation page displays. Ensure that the license you are about deactivate is the correct one, then select Next .
On the License Deactivation Selection page, select the license to deactivate.

The Activation Wizard then checks your computer to see if it is connected to the internet and processes the deactivation.

The Product Deactivation Successful page displays once your Mastercam products or evaluations have been deactivated. If the license is still valid, you can reactivate it.

No Internet Access

Select Offline Activation/Deactivation.
Select Deactivate or Move an Existing License
On the License Deactivation Selection page, select the license to deactivate.

NOTE:
Depending on the license you are deactivating, it will state if it is an Evaluation or Retail license.

Click Next
The Confirmation page displays. Ensure that the license you are about deactivate is the correct one, then select Next .
On the Offline Deactivation page, select Save .

The Save As dialog box displays

Save the license return file (.mcDea) to a network location or a USB drive. Your Internet-connected computer must be able to access this file.
Select Next
Select Finish.
On your Internet-connected computer, use a browser to go to Activate.mastercam.com.
Select Deactivate a license.
Select Browse for your .mcDea file.
Navigate to the .mcDea file and select Open.
Select Upload and Verify.
When your license is verified, your information, and list of products displays. Ensure that the information displayed is correct. If there are any issues, please contact your local Mastercam Reseller.
If everything is correct, select Deactivate your license.
Your license will then be deactivated. If the license is still valid, you can reactivate it.
