래퍼 오디션 프로그램인 <쇼미더머니 시즌3>가 중징계를 받았다. 방송통신심의위원회(방심위·위원장 박효종)는 18일 열린 전체회의에서 케이블채널 엠넷 <쇼미더머니 시즌3> 1~4회에 대해 ‘해당 방송프로그램의 중지 및 관계자 징계’ 결정을 내렸다. 이는 방송사가 재허가·재승인 때 벌점 6점을 받는 중징계에 해당한다. 엠넷은 재허가·재승인 대상 채널이 아니라서 벌점은 적용받지 않지만, 해당 방송 프로그램 관계자를 징계해야 하며 해당 방송을 재방송·브이오디(VOD) 등으로 내보내면 안 된다. 해당 프로그램은 청소년보호시간대에 오디션 지원자들과 심사위원들이 랩이나 대화를 하면서 ‘씨x’, ‘fxxk’ 등의 비속어·욕설을 언급하는 장면을 비프음(삐 소리) 처리와 자막을 일부 가리는 조치를 취해 내보냈다. 방심위는 ‘방송 심의에 관한 규정’에서 품위유지, 청소년 정서 발달과정 고려, 바른 언어생활을 해치는 방송언어 자제 항목 등을 어겼다고 했다. 청소년유해매체물로 고시된 노래를 부르는 공연 장면을 내보낸 것도 관련 규정을 어긴 것으로 지적받았다. 김효실 기자 Top 5%... 저널정보

Local Music TV channel M.net has launched a hip hop audition program "Show me the money". this audition program has contributed to the wider acceptance of hip hop in terms of age and gender. A hot issue surrounding hip hop is the authenticity. Authenticity has long been discussed in various disciplines ranging from philosophy and sociology to popular music studies. Authenticity in hip hop comes from two some what different perspectives. One is the authenticity of the hip hop artist. Authenticity come from his personal background and how the artist has made his way in life. The other is concerned with the authenticity of the audience and society. These two aspects can help to explain the authenticity of hip hop. Showme the money has shown how an intial prejudice against the idol hiphopper can be gradually changed over the course, winding up the idol rapper to win the competition.
